Itinerary
Day 1

Arrival in Livingstone

Livingstone Airport
+

Welcome to Livingstone — Zambia’s adventure capital and the gateway to one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation, where your guide will walk you through the days ahead. The afternoon is yours to settle in, take a stroll along the Zambezi waterfront, and feel the first pulse of Africa. As the sun dips over the river and hippos call in the distance, you’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere extraordinary.

Day 2

Victoria Falls & Livingstone Town Tour

Victoria Falls
+

Stand face-to-face with Mosi-oa-Tunya — the Smoke that Thunders. Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and no description quite prepares you for the moment you first hear it, then see it: a curtain of white water plunging 108 metres into the Batoka Gorge, sending mist rising like smoke above the rainforest. After the Falls, your guide leads you through Livingstone town, from its colonial-era museum to the vibrant local market, weaving together the history and daily rhythms of this remarkable place.

Day 3

Cultural Tour

Mukwalantila Village
+

Step beyond the tourist trail and into the living culture of the Tonga people. Today you visit a local village on the banks of the Zambezi, welcomed by community members who share their daily routines, traditional crafts, and stories passed down through generations. Join in, ask questions, and leave with a deeper understanding of what life looks like in the heart of southern Zambia. This is connection, not observation.

Day 4

White Water Rafting on the Zambezi

Zambezi River
+

The Batoka Gorge delivers some of the most exhilarating white water on earth. Plunge through Grade V rapids with names like The Washing Machine and The Terminator, navigating walls of churning water beneath towering basalt cliffs. Between the adrenaline there are calm stretches to catch your breath, take in the gorge scenery, and appreciate the sheer wildness of this hidden world beneath the Falls. A day that will take some beating.

Day 5

Livingstone Safari & Elephant Café

Mosi oa Tunya National Park
+

Enter Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park — a compact but extraordinary reserve where wildlife roams freely along the Zambezi corridor. On game drive you’ll encounter elephant, hippo, zebra, impala, and the park’s celebrated white rhino, one of the few places in Zambia where they can be seen. The afternoon brings something equally memorable: lunch at the Elephant Café, where rescued and rehabilitated elephants are your company. Watch them up close, learn their stories, and share a meal in one of the most unusual dining rooms in Africa.

Day 6

Chobe Day Trip

Chobe National Park
+

Cross the border into Botswana for a full day in Chobe National Park — home to the highest concentration of elephants on earth. A morning game drive through the Chobe floodplains brings you close to vast herds moving through the bush, alongside lion, buffalo, giraffe, and an extraordinary diversity of birdlife. After lunch at a riverside lodge, the afternoon shifts to a boat safari on the Chobe River, where hippos surface just metres from the vessel and crocodiles bask in the afternoon sun. One of Africa’s finest wildlife experiences, right on Livingstone’s doorstep.

Day 7

Livingstone Island & Sunset Cruise

Livingstone Island
+

Livingstone Island sits at the very lip of Victoria Falls — the spot from which David Livingstone first laid eyes on the Falls in 1855. A private boat transfers you to the island, where you can peer over the edge into the gorge far below, and the brave can slip into the Devil’s Pool: a natural infinity pool perched at the waterfall’s brink. The afternoon ends aboard a traditional vessel on the Zambezi at golden hour, sundowner in hand, as elephants wade at the water’s edge and the sky turns amber.

Day 8

Departure

Livingstone Airport
+

Your Livingstone adventure draws to a close, but the memories — the roar of the Falls, the rapids of the Batoka Gorge, the elephants at Chobe — will stay with you long after you leave. After breakfast, your guide transfers you to the airport or onward to your next destination. Until next time, Zambia.
